What Shows on a Bank Statement for OnlyFans Payments

Updated October 20, 2026 · Ranking.bio research team · 6 min read

An OnlyFans payment usually appears on your bank statement with a merchant name that contains "OnlyFans" or "OnlyFans.com", often with a short code. OnlyFans does not use a disguised billing name. The exact text varies by bank and country. OnlyFans does not ship anything to fans, but each renewal, tip and unlock is a separate charge.

What does an OnlyFans charge look like on a bank statement?

An OnlyFans charge usually shows a merchant name that contains "OnlyFans" or "OnlyFans.com", often with a short code or reference after it. OnlyFans does not use a disguised or generic merchant name.

  • The merchant name normally includes the OnlyFans brand. Some users also report "OF" abbreviations.
  • OnlyFans is operated by Fenix International Limited, a UK company. Some statements may show the Fenix name instead of, or next to, the brand.
  • All fan payments are transacted in US dollars, so non-US cards can show a currency conversion line or fee.
  • Each subscription renewal, tip, message unlock and wallet top-up is a separate charge.
  • OnlyFans does not ship physical products to fans, so there is nothing to deliver to your home.

The exact text depends on your bank, your card network and your country. Banks often shorten or rewrite merchant names. Two people can see slightly different labels for the same type of payment. OnlyFans does not publish an official list of descriptors in a public source we could confirm in October 2026. So treat any exact label you read online, including the examples here, as a report, not a promise.

Which descriptor variants do people report?

Most reports describe a clear brand name, sometimes with a short suffix, and a smaller number describe the operator name. The table lists the common reports and how sure we are about each one.

Reported textWhen people report itHow certain
OnlyFans or ONLYFANS.COM (with a code)Subscriptions, tips, message unlocksWidely reported
OF plus a word such as subscriptionRecurring charges on some banksReported by some users, not confirmed by OnlyFans
Fenix International or Fenix IntlSome card checks and some paymentsPlausible (it is the operator), not confirmed as standard
A small temporary holdWhen you add a new cardCommonly reported, amount varies

If your bank app shows a logo or a "merchant details" screen, it may also show the website address or the company location. These extra details come from your bank and its data partners, not from OnlyFans.

Why do I see a small charge when I add a card?

Many users report a small temporary authorization when they add a payment card, even before they subscribe. This check confirms that the card is valid and is usually released by the bank after a few days.

The amount and the label of this check can differ. Some people see it as "pending" and then it disappears. If it stays on your statement for more than a week, ask your bank whether it was a hold or a completed payment. OnlyFans also asks for card security checks such as 3D Secure on many cards, so your bank may send you a code or an app approval.

Does OnlyFans send mail or letters to your home?

OnlyFans does not ship goods to fans, and there is no physical product to deliver. Its terms say it can contact users by a message to the account, by email, by text or call, or by letter to a physical address the user provides.

In normal use, most contact from OnlyFans happens inside your account and by email. Email notifications can include new messages, new posts and account security alerts. You can change most email notifications in your account settings. Your bank statement itself is a different matter. If your bank posts paper statements, the OnlyFans charge will appear on them like any other card payment.

Renewals need extra care. The OnlyFans terms say a subscription renews automatically at the current rate unless you switch off "Auto-Renew". They also say you will not get a further notice before each renewal. So a renewal can appear on your statement without a reminder email first.

How do different payment options appear?

Every payment method still links back to a bank or card account, so no method makes the charge invisible. What changes is which account shows the charge and how much detail it shows.

Payment optionWhat your statement showsNotes
Main debit or credit cardAn OnlyFans merchant line for each chargeSimplest option. Anyone who sees your statement sees the charges.
Wallet Credits (prepaid on OnlyFans)One larger top-up charge, then no line for each purchaseCredits are non-refundable under the terms, and there is a maximum balance.
A separate card in your own nameThe same merchant line, but on a different accountUseful to keep your spending in one place and set a budget.
Virtual card from your bankDepends on the bank. Often the merchant name still appears. Some banks let you freeze or limit a virtual card after use.
Prepaid cardThe charge shows on the prepaid card recordSome prepaid cards are declined because they do not support 3D Secure.

If the price of a purchase is more than your Wallet Credits, the terms say your card is charged the full amount for that purchase. The wallet does not split a payment. Our guide on how much OnlyFans costs explains prices, bundles and tips in more detail.

How can I keep OnlyFans payments private?

The most reliable way is to pay with a card or account that only you can see. OnlyFans does not offer an anonymous billing name, so privacy depends on how you manage your own accounts.

  1. Use a card that is in your name only, not a shared family or joint card.
  2. Turn on app notifications from your bank, so you see each charge first.
  3. Ask your bank if it offers virtual cards. Many banks now do.
  4. Use Wallet Credits if you want fewer lines on your statement. Remember that credits are non-refundable.
  5. Switch off "Auto-Renew" on subscriptions you do not want to repeat.
  6. Use a private email address and turn on two-step security on your account.

Privacy from creators is a separate question. Creators do not see your full card number. Our guide on whether creators can see your email lists what they can and cannot see. Never use a card that is not yours. Paying with someone else's card without consent is fraud.

What should I do if I see an OnlyFans charge I do not recognize?

First check your own OnlyFans account for a matching payment, then contact OnlyFans support, and only then contact your bank. Many "unknown" charges are renewals that someone forgot about.

  1. Log in and open the payments or statements area of your account. Compare the date and amount.
  2. Look at your active subscriptions. Check if any renewed on that date.
  3. Check the currency. A $9.99 charge can look like a different amount after conversion.
  4. If you do not have an account, or the charge does not match, email [email protected] or use the contact form on the site.
  5. If you think your card was stolen, freeze the card in your bank app and ask your bank for a new one.

Be careful with chargebacks. The OnlyFans terms say users must not make unjustified refund or chargeback requests. If OnlyFans decides a request was made in bad faith, it may suspend or delete the account. Use a chargeback for real fraud, not for content you bought and then regretted.

How big are typical OnlyFans charges?

Most subscription charges are small. In Ranking.bio data (64,466 listed creator profiles, checked 20 October 2026), the median paid subscription is $12.00 per month and 25.3% of live accounts are free.

The most common prices in our data are $10, $9.99 and $15. So a typical subscription line on your statement is between about $5 and $20. Tips and locked messages are separate and can be larger. Free accounts do not charge a subscription, but they can still sell locked messages. Our guide on free vs paid OnlyFans explains how that works.
