To get verified as an OnlyFans creator, you must be at least 18, upload a valid ID and two photos of yourself, and add bank or payment details. You also need to live in a country where OnlyFans can send payouts. Most rejections come from blurry selfies, poor ID photos or an expired ID.
To get verified as an OnlyFans creator, you must be at least 18 years old, upload a valid ID and two photos of yourself, and add bank or payment details. You must also live in a country where OnlyFans can send payouts.
We checked these rules in the OnlyFans Terms of Service and Help Center in October 2026. Ranking.bio is an independent creator directory. We are not part of OnlyFans, and we cannot verify accounts for you.
You first open a normal fan account, and then you complete the Creator Onboarding Process. OnlyFans reviews your details before you can earn.
After approval, add content for your fans to see when they subscribe. Turn on two-step authentication to protect the account. OnlyFans has a Help Center page that shows how to set it up.
The minimum age for OnlyFans is 18. This applies to fans and creators, and to every person who appears in a creator's content.
If you post content with another person, the terms say that person must be at least 18. You must also have their proof of identity and their written, informed consent before you share the content. Any person in co-authored content can withdraw consent later, and OnlyFans can then delete that content.
Fans can also face age checks. OnlyFans says that the information it asks for to confirm age and identity depends on where you live. In the UK, the regulator Ofcom fined the owner of OnlyFans £1.05 million in March 2025. The fine was for inaccurate information about its age checks for fans, not for creator verification.
OnlyFans does not publish an official review time for creator applications. Creators often report a wait of one to three days, but the time can be longer.
These issues may slow the review:
Check your email, including the spam folder, while you wait. If you need help, use the contact options in the OnlyFans Help Center.
The most common reasons are poor quality selfies and poor quality photos of your ID. OnlyFans lists five main reasons in its Help Center.
| Rejection reason (OnlyFans Help Center) | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Poor quality selfies | Use good light, show your full face, and keep the camera still. |
| Poor quality photos of your ID | Photograph the whole document on a plain surface. Make sure all text is sharp and there is no glare. |
| Expired, invalid or damaged ID | Use a valid ID that is in good condition and not expired. |
| OnlyFans cannot make payouts in your country | Check the country list in the Add Bank section. The list changes over time. |
| Your other social media accounts are private | Make the social media accounts that you link public. |
OnlyFans also states that it may reject an application at any time and for any reason. You cannot open a creator account if you are under 18, if you live in a country where OnlyFans cannot support payments, or if you broke the terms with an earlier account.
The verified badge is a check mark that shows next to a creator's name on many OnlyFans profiles. OnlyFans does not publish a Help Center page that defines the badge, so treat it as a sign of a checked creator account, not as a guarantee.
The badge is very common. Ranking.bio data (64,466 listed creator profiles, checked 20 October 2026) shows that 94.4% of live OnlyFans accounts display it. So most creators that you see on the platform have the badge.
The badge does not tell you about content quality, price or how active a creator is. Our data shows that 28.5% of live accounts hide their last-seen status. Of those that show it, 74.1% were online in the 30 days before our check. To compare creators, see our list of the best OnlyFans accounts, or read how our rankings work.
Use the official OnlyFans username and open the profile on OnlyFans.com. Look for the verified badge and links from the creator's own social media accounts.
You can also look up a creator by name, category or location with our creator finder. Our guide on how to find someone on OnlyFans explains the search options. Respect privacy: never try to identify a creator's real name or home address, and never share paid content without consent.
After approval, set up your payouts and learn the fee rules. OnlyFans keeps 20% of every fan payment, and creators receive 80%.
Our guide on what percentage OnlyFans takes shows full earning examples. If you are choosing between platforms, read our OnlyFans vs Fansly comparison, which also explains how Fansly verifies creators.
